1950 Ford Tanker In May of 1952 a 1950 Ford truck was purchased from International Harvester in Springfield, Ohio fro $849.75 and equipped with a 1,000 gallon tank for a total cost of $1,500. This gave the department a pumper and a tanker. Most of the work on this truck was done by the members of the department. This truck was in service from 1952 until 1972.
